Governors State University (22-5,16-3) is in 1st place in the CCAC Conference over 2nd place Olivet Nazarene (15-4, CCAC) with the win over the Nighthawks (21-6, 14-5).
The Jaguars' Tabetha Jones scored 28 points, 11 assists, 7 rebounds and Kalvina Eubanks had a game-high 13 rebounds, 6 assists for the winners.
GSU closes out the regular season Saturday at Holy Cross and will host a first-round CCAC Conference playoff game next Wednesday, February 26 in the ARC, game time - TBA.
