2024 GovState Women's Basketball Winter Classic Scores From Saturday Night - Governors State 83, Cornerstone (MI) 75 with Zareia Chevre scoring 27 points and Tabetha Jones 25 in the win at the GSU ARC.
Governors State shot 73.3% in the third quarter (11-15 field goals) to break away from a 33-33 halftime deadlock and outscore Cornerstone (7-6) 30-17 in the third.
Da'Naria Washington scored 11 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocked shots for the winners, now with a 5-game winning streak.
Freed-Hardeman (TN) remains unbeaten (14-0) with a 76-53 win over #8 Rio Grande (Ohio, 10-2 on the season).
