A big day for Governors State University women's basketball Saturday in the road win at Calumet College St. Joseph's.

Career milestone for senior Da'Naria Washington scoring her 1000th collegiate career point in the win. "D" played two years at Trinity International University and two years at Governors State University.

Washington hit the 1000 mark with two free throws early in the game and she had a double-double vs. the Crimson Wave with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Jaguars had four players score in double figures, Zareia Chevre with 16 points, 5 rebounds, Cencere McDaniel had 21 points, 6rebounds, 6 assists and Tabetha Jones totaled 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.

GovState Head Women's Basketball Coach Tonishea Mack won her 100th career game today with the Jaguars and she continues the all-time school women's wins leader in her 7th season.

GSU (21-5, 15-3) is in first place in the CCAC and will battle second play IU Northwest next on Wednesday, February 19, 5:30 PM game at ARC - Senior Night and Cancer Awareness Night for the Jaguars' basketball program.
