Zareia Chevre led Governors State University (13-3, 7-1 CCAC) with 23 points, 6 rebounds and Tabetha Jones filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
GSU was on fire in the first quarter shooting 11-16 FGs (68.5 %) and led 26-15 after ten minutes. The Jaguars led 41-32 at halftime.
The Jaguars led by as many as 16 points late in third quarter and St. Francis (12-3, 5-2 CCAC) would not go away out-scoring GSU 21-9 in the fourth quarter.
