Jaguars Win at St. Francis Thursday Night 77-76 - Isaiah Tolbert Leads Way With 18 Points, 5 Assists

(0) GSU's Isaiah Tolbert led the way with 18 points, 5 assists and the men's basketball team won at the University of St. Francis Thursday night 77-76.

The Jaguars (11-14, 7-10 CCAC) are battling for one of the top 8 spots and a place in the CCAC playoffs later this month. (Currently tied for 8th)

Jaguars' Vincent Davis had 12 points, 8 rebounds and the winners had five players score in double figures with Rashad Smith 17, Javon Johnson 12 and Vincent Mayes 10 points.

Smith hit two free throws with five seconds remaining for a 77-76 lead and USF missed a last second shot with GovState hanging on for road win #4 on the 2024-25 season.

Governors State University men's and women's basketball teams next play Saturday, February 15 at Calumet St, Joseph, 1 PM women's game and a 3 PM men's start vs. CCSJ.
