Governors State University battled back to 66-66 in the final two minutes and the Saints won late with two free throws and a bucket to beat the Jaguars 70-66.
Vincent Davis led GovState with 21 points, 7 rebounds and Tyrell Isom scored 19 points and had a team-high 9 rebounds in the loss.
Davis' basket in the lane tied the game at 66-all with 1:07 to play.
The Jaguars shot 14-24 (58.3%) in the second half after a cold first half shooting (10-30, 33.3%) in the first 20 minutes (St. Francis led 34-27 at half).
GSU is next at Olivet Nazarene University, 3 PM Saturday in Bourbonnais.
