DIONTA BANKS SIGNS MEN'S BASKETBALL NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT FOR 2023-2024 AT GOVERNORS STATE UNIVERSITY

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL - GSU Head Men's Basketball Coach Tony Bates announced the signing of Dionta Banks (Chicago, IL, Butler College Prep HS) to a National Letter of Intent to Governors State University in 2023-2024.

Banks is a 5-10 point guard who was Butler College Prep team MVP the past two seasons and was named Most Improved Player in 2020-2021 and Rookie of the Year at Butler in 2019-2020.

"Dionta Banks is a scoring point guard that will grow in our system," said Jaguars Head Basketball Coach Tony Bates about new signee Banks.
