Women's Soccer Loses 2024 Season Opener 2-1 Saturday vs. Oakland City University in Evansville, Ind.

GSU JAGUARS GAME DAY -   Women's soccer team (23) senior, Grace McGlaughlin and the Jaguars will competed in the 2024 season opener Saturday in Evansville, Indiana vs. Oakland City University.

GSU lost 2-1 on a late goal in the 86' minute by Oakland University in the match played in Evansville, Indiana.

The Jaguars' goal was scored by Morgan Bean to take a 1-0 lead in the first half. McLaughlin led GSU with three shots on the goal in the game and GSU was out-shot 20-8 overall.

GovState next plays at the University of Northwestern Ohio, Saturday, August 31, 4 p.m.
